Business Insurance

If you are looking for insurance and you deal in the high tech industries don’t do any business with the US. Otherwise it will be impossible to find a Canadian Insurance company to insure you for a reasonable rate.

Any Photographers Out There?

February 23, 2007 9:41 pm

Calling for all photographers out there with studio experience.  I can’t decide between a two and four light setup.  What do you think is better for product photography?

I know there is a big difference between a package with four lights and a package with two lights.  What I’m afraid of is that with a two light setup there isn’t enough light to evenly light a 4 - 5′ table full of products.    Which brings me to modifiers.  Are soft boxes really necessary?

So many choices out there.  Where do you start?

April Court Date

3:41 pm

I’m extremely excited.  I received news that a Settlement Conference date has been set for my Small Claims Court claim against ???? ??? TAM and the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC).   The entire MVA incident has taken almost a year of my happiness away.   I hope I am able to convince the Judge of the truth and be victorious.   The court date is set for April 18th, 2007 at the Robson Court Provincial Courts.   Wish me luck.

I haven’t had a chance to update my blog in a long time. It’s been so busy at work I’ve been neglecting my blog and other things. Two weekend ago my girl friend and I went to Seattle to get away from Vancouver. We spent most of our time at the malls looking for deals. We ended up going to Auburn Supermall, Costco, Bellevue Square, Downtown Seattle, and Marysville Prime Outlet. The best shopping stop by far was Auburn Supermall. A lot of good deals to be found there. The place is huge. The hallways seems like it’s about a four lane road. All the big stores have a presence there. If you are going down I suggest a stop down there.

Auburn Supermall

That evening while shopping at Macy’s at Bellevue Square I saw the neatest thing. Guess what it is.

Ipod Vending Machine

That is an Ipod Vending Machine. That’s the first one I ever saw.

After having dinner at Cheese Cake Cafe we called it a night.

The next day on our way to Downtown Seattle we say the neatest Viet restaurant. What’s the Pho?

We also had the best pastry at this Russian bakery called Piroshky across from the Seattle Public Market. If you are down in Seattle I suggest that you visit it and have some good food.

After some endless walking at Nordstrom Rack, American Eagle and Banana Republic my foot and leg was just in too much pain we headed back to Vancouver. It was weird at the Canadian Custom it was dead we went through, took literally less than 1 minute.

That’s all for now. I will try to update this blog when I get some more time.
